Based out of Effingham, IL. Lures can be purchased by order via email and through the link above.
Every lure starts out by being poured into a mold being shaped into the right design. Once molded, the excess lead is cut off and then filed down to make the body smooth. It is then powder painted very precisely. The paint is done drying once it turns from powder to a glossy shine. It is then heated in an oven which sets the paint, and prevents the lure from chipping. A skirt is then added to the lure once it is out of the oven. At this point the lure is ready to be used.
My most vivid childhood memories are fishing with my dad at the age of 5. I quickly fell in love with it, as he engrained in me the techniques, skills, and passion for fishing that I still hold on to today!
Fishing has been a passion of mine all my life. Recently, I have joined the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville's Fishing Team. I got to experience fishing in local tournaments as well as fishing the FLW YETI College fishing tour. This coming year I am looking forward to being the active club President.
High school is where I came up with the name "Pursuit Lures" for my business class. Although the business is different now, that name always stuck with me.
Pursuit Lures was started with the idea to provide a high quality big bass lure, at an affordable price. Overall, I believe I have done exactly that.
